PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal generator for a game machine, which can easily generate a speciality signal, or the like, synchronized with a speciality judgment on the game machine side and easily enables inspection, or the like, on the game machine side. SOLUTION: This signal generator is equipped with a main control board 38 with a judging means 50 to judge a signal generated at prescribed intervals by drawing lots based on a starting signal and a symbol control board 54 to control a symbol display means 22 so as to start variation based on the starting signal and to be in a prescribed display mode based on a result of judgment with the judging means 50. The signal generator is used for a game machine with an advantageous condition generating means 51 to generate an advantageous condition advantageous for a player on condition that the symbol display means 22 becomes a speciality display by speciality judgment of the judging means 50 and equipped with a signal generating means 57 to generate a speciality signal to make the judging means 50 judge it specialty or a different signal to make the judging means 50 judge it different from the speciality judgment.
