PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic auction method which allows a seller and a buyer to efficiently have an electronic auction, enables the buyer side to takes the initiative in the electronic auction for a desired article, and also enables the owner of the article to sell it according to the auction. SOLUTION: A server for electronic auction has a bid acceptance step wherein an electronic auction is opened and articles are bidden for more than once, a notification step which notifies a buyer client determined in the bid acceptance step of the determination of the bid acceptance, and an application step wherein the buyer client notified in the notification step specifies conveyance conditions of the successfully bidden article and applies for it.
