<p>The construction block (1) consists of a parallelepiped main section (2) and upper and lower dovetail-shaped projections (3). After the bottom course of blocks has been cemented to a foundation (10) successive courses can be assembled by moving each block horizontally so that its lower projection fits into the gap between two adjacent upper projections on the course below. A variant of the design has dovetail-shaped recesses in the blocks, which interlock by engaging one recess with adjoining end projections on the course below.</p> |
