PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device reading reliable information in the optical disk device improving a reading speed by using a multi-laser beam and simultaneously reading information recorded on plural tracks. SOLUTION: A TE signal operation circuit 17 operates a tracking error signal TE by using an output of a quadripartite photo-detector 9. Error detection circuits 33-37 output the number of read errors of respective tracks. An addition circuit 46 adds the TE signal to the output of a variable DC signal 45. A control circuit 4 adjusts the output of the variable DC signal 45 so that a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value of the outputs of the error detection circuits 33-37 becomes minimum to correct the operation point of the TE signal.
