PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input/output device for a camera capable of accomplishing the detection of a DX code, the detection of a film, the input/ output of the information from/to the external part with a simple constitution by using DX terminals, as for a camera equipped with two DX terminals. SOLUTION: The 1st and 2nd DX terminals 11 and 12 come into contact with the common pattern 17 of a film cartridge 2 and a pattern 18 other than the common pattern, respectively. Besides, a conductive member 14 is arranged near the 1st and 2nd DX terminals 11 and 12 so as to come into press contact with, or separate from the 1st and 2nd DX terminals 11 and 12 in accordance with the effect that the film cartridge 2 is loaded or not. And the presence or absence of the film cartridge 2 is judged by a camera circuit 15 based on the continuity state between the 1st DX terminal 11 and the conductive member 14, and the film sensitivity is judged based on the continuity state of the 1st and 2nd DX terminals 11 and 12. Besides, at least the 1st DX terminal 11 is arranged as a communication terminal for communicating with an external communication device 4.
