PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a method of adjusting a sensor fitting angle by the installation of a marker to easily and accurately adjust the angle of fitting a sensor to a vehicle even in a small space without needing a large space ahead in a marker installation method for installing the marker serving as a reference point in adjusting the angle of fitting the sensor for monitoring the front of the vehicle. SOLUTION: One end of a cord 23 is fixed to a trunk cover 12, and in the open state of the trunk cover 12, the cord 23 is extended ahead of the vehicle 10 so as to pass a reference point marked on the vehicle 10. The marker 21 is installed on the basis of the cord 23 extended ahead of the vehicle 10.
