The invention relates to an electromagnetic valve comprising a valve housing (12) in which a valve lifter (2) is mounted on a magnet armature (6) and is oriented, with the end thereof located opposite said magnet armature (6), toward a spring-loaded valve piston (4), which is guided in a sleeve-shaped piston carrier (3). The electromagnetic valve also comprises a central opening (1) for hydraulically connecting an inlet channel (14) to an outlet channel (15) in the valve housing (12). The central opening (1) is placed in the piston carrier (3) so that it is flush with the valve lifter (2). When the valve is in its initial position, the face of the spring-loaded valve piston (4), while functioning as a seat valve, keeps the central opening (1) sealed off from hydraulic medium, whereas when the magnet armature (6) is electromagnetically excited, the valve lifter (2) lifts the valve piston (4), counter to the action of the spring (5), from a valve seat surface (7) that delimits the central opening (1). |
