The invention relates to an electrostatic process for the sanitary conditioning of cereal products, which can be used to remove impurities from cereals and cereal or vegetable granular products, to separate the fractions resulted from crushing or grinding processes, to destroy microorganisms - bacteria, yeast, moulds, etc.- and to lower the humidity level of the above-mentioned products with a view to long-term storage or preservation. According to the invention, the process comprises the magnetic pre-purification combined with an electro-ionic storage by providing above the product a layer of ionized and electrostatically purified air wherefrom dust and microorganisms where removed, the provision of sterile storage conditions, the pneumatic-vibratory-electrostatic purification by combining two operations, namely: the pre-purification by vibratory electromagnetic screening and the pneumatic-vibratory-electrostatic purification, accomplished in two phases, the first phase comprising the vibratory-electromagnetic displacement of the products, charging the same in non-uniform electrostatic field generated by a high-voltage electrode (9), providing a strong agitation which results in the removal of some fractions of the product through the meshes of a vibratory perforated surface, said removal being enhanced by an air stream caused by suction, the second phase comprising the vibratory-electromagnetic displacement of the product screened during the first phase, followed by charging in a non-uniform electrostatic field generated by another high-voltage electrode (12), thereby ensuring the removal of the screened product which is discharged, followed by the electrostatic destruction of the microorganisms and the thermal-electrostatic dehydration of the product, the helical displacement of the product in an air-influx and the packaging of said product in heat-weldable foil in the electrostatically-sterilized atmosphere.
