PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an apparatus for steaming raw ground macerated soybean by which the steaming efficiency is heightened and the charge for the maintenance is reduced. SOLUTION: A raw ground macerated soybean-feeding pipe 14 for feeding the raw ground macerated soybean to the interior of a sealed oblong cylindrical steamer 10 is introduced from the vicinity of the bottom part of the steamer 10 and arranged so that the tip opening may be directed downward. A steam- feeding pipe 15 for feeding steam to the steamer 10 is attached to the bottom part of the steamer 10. A baffle 16 for dispersing the fed raw ground macerated soybean to all sides is arranged between the opening of the raw ground macerated soybean-feeding pipe 14 and the opening of the steam-feeding pipe 15. A discharging pipe 18 for discharging the steamed ground macerated soybean is attached to the center of the upper part of the steamer 10. Cylindrical fillers 21 having lengths within the range of (1/2)-2 times as long as the outer diameter, and the outer diameters within the range of (1/3)-(1/2) time as long as the inner diameter of the steamer 10 are packed in the steamer 10. |
