PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid transporter for transporting liquid in one direction through volumetric variation of a cavity section provided in a liquid channel in which efficiency is enhanced by preventing backflow of liquid in order to enable and facilitate manufacture through micromachining, etc. SOLUTION: A plurality of resistance imparting parts having no movable part in a liquid channel at least on the upstream side or downstream side of a cavity section are provided while arranging the liquid transporting direction to the direction of increasing conductance. In order to vary the volume of the cavity section, a movable wall being driven through a driving section, e.g. a piezoelectric element, is provided at the cavity section. The resistance imparting part is simply required to have such a geometry as the conductance of liquid is higher in the liquid transporting direction than in the reverse direction. For example, an enlarged nozzle (diffuser nozzle) is employed. |
