PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of deformation caused by the increase of the fluidity of an organic binder by heating to high temperature in debinder treatment in the producing method for a metal or ceramic powder sintered body or the problem of the reduction of safety caused by the debinder treatment. SOLUTION: A compound containing an organic binder resin essentially consisting of thermoplastic polyester having ester bonds in the molecules is molded, and next, the molded body is immersed into an alkaline aqueous solution and is subjected to debinder treatment.
