PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a can body washing apparatus in which the sealing between an opening part and a cover part of the can body is improved even when the opening part of the can body is inclined or distorted, and the center line of nozzle is automatically made to coincide with the center line of the can body precisely. SOLUTION: This can body washing apparatus is provided with a lance pipe 5, the nozzle 3, a supporting structure 7 which supports the lance pipe outside the can body, moving mechanisms 15, 17, 21, 23 and 25 which move the lance pipe in the up-and-down direction, a positioning means 9 and 11 and 13 which position the nozzle at plural positions in the state of inserting the nozzle into the inside of the can body and a seal member 8 which hermetically seals the opening part of the can body in the state of closing the opening part of the can body. The supporting structure is provided with a cover part 7c which has an opening part 7f which makes the lance pipe freely insert thereinto and can change the angle according to the inclination of the opening part of the can body, a first floating part 7i which is disposed in the opening part of the cover part and regulates the angle change of the lance pipe, a guide part 7b which is fixedly disposed on the cover part, a top plate 7a which has a hole part 7e which freely inserts the guide part fixedly disposed in a horizontal state and makes the guide part freely insert thereinto and an opening part 7d which makes the lance pipe freely insert thereinto and a second floating part 7g which maintains the angle change with respect to the top plate of the guide part.
