PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shaft for linear motor capable of attaining high dimensional precision with a simple structure. SOLUTION: This shaft for linear motor is formed by sequentially embedding magnetic pole pieces 12a, 12b constituted of annular bonded magnets whose outer peripheries are polarized into N-pole or S-pole respectively on the inner wall 11a of a sleeve 11 constituted of non-magnetic metal such as A1 or SUS so that magnetic poles adjacent to each other may be different.
