PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display method for a network camera, which can display an image consisting of scenes from cameras freely on one display device in size, a display sequence and a display form or the like meeting the requirement of a user and can enhance the reliability of the time when the image is stored. SOLUTION: The image display method for a network camera of this invention allows the display device to display plural windows at the same time, each window displays an image photographed by each camera by cross- referencing each camera through each window, priority is placed on each camera, the size of a window displaying an image photographed by a camera with higher priority is increased larger and toward this side. Furthermore, an operator using this method can freely drag each window, the image picked up by the camera for each window is converted into a file and the file is stored in a storage device while describing a storage time to the header part of the file.
