PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which detects lighting of a plurality of heating elements by one detecting means and has the improved detection accuracy. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic image forming device having a plurality of heating elements equipped with a heating element driving means for controling each lighting of a plurality of the heating elements, a power source for supplying an electric power to the heating elements, an electric current detecting means disposed between the heating element driving means and power source, a saved area for storing electric current values detected by the electric current detecting means, and a control means for performing a fault detection based on the electric current values and the stored values stored in the saved area. |
