PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power control device enabling attainment of a comfortable temperature fitted to a user or an environment of the use, by enabling execution of a wide-range power control. SOLUTION: The power control device is provided for dropping the power to be supplied to a heating appliance, such as a heater, down to a value set beforehand. The device is equipped with a power dropping means (2) for supplying the dropped power to the heating appliance and a drop control means (3) for controlling the power dropping means (2) to make it possible to supply only the power of a desired value to the heating appliance.
