An apparatus (1) interconnecting selectively at least one data based apparatus with at least one telecommunications device. The apparatus (1) comprises an data bus controller (4) mastered by a central processing unit CPU (7) and to which said at least one data based apparatus is selectively electrically connected, a switching unit (5) mastered by said CPU (7) and to which said at least one telecommunications device is selectively electrically connected, and an electrical link (3) connecting said data bus controller (4) together with said switching unit (5) for the transfer of data between said data based apparatus and said telecommunications device.
