PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cradle capable of preventing fly waste from attaching by a simple structure, and capable of elongating the cycle for the maintenance to heighten the production efficiency, and further to provide a cradle device by using the cradle. SOLUTION: This cradle 1 has a main body 3 swinging while engaging a top roller-holding part 3a with the spindle 2a of the top roller, and a tensor 4 installed in the tip part of the main body 3, and is constituted so that the apron 6 installed in the top roller 2 may be held in a tense state by the tensor 4. The top roller-holding part 3a is formed by forming a depression part in an arc shape along the periphery surface of the spindle 2a of the top roller, and a pair of leg fragments 13 and 13 is parallelly stood from the front side of the top roller-holding part 3a. The tensor 4 installed in the cradle main body 3 is constituted so as to be held parallel to the spindle 2a by bringing each of the leg fragments 13 and 13 into contact with the front-side periphery surface of the spindle 2a of the top roller.
