PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily replace a polishing member of a rotary polishing tool with a new one by reducing members to be discarded when the polishing member is worn, and to fit the polishing member to rotary shafts in various forms. SOLUTION: This rotary polishing tool 50 comprises a center member 5 and a polishing member 6 formed independently of each other. Both members 5, 6 are detachably rotatory-engaged through groove parts 5f of the center member 5 and projecting parts 6d of the polishing member 6. The projecting parts 6d are formed at both faces of the polishing member 6, so that both the surface and back face are detachably usable. Since the use of both faces of the polishing member 56 permits polishing as far as the projecting parts 6d, only the projecting parts 6d are discarded to easily replace the polishing member 6 with the new one, and the center member 5 can be reused as it is.
