GREEN PIGMENT AND PAINT USING THE SAME AND RESIN COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a harmless green pigment excellent in chemical resistance such as acid resistance and alkali resistance, high in hiding power and coloring power, and improved in heat resistance. SOLUTION: This harmless green pigment having the above-mentioned advantages consists of green multiple hydrous iron oxide particulate powder 0.1-1.0μm in average major axis wherein the surface of hydrous iron oxide particulate and powder are coated with an organosilane compound or polysiloxane produced from an alkoxysilane and an organic blue pigment adheres to the above coat; in this case, the adhesion amount of the organic blue pigment is 5-30 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the hydrous iron oxide particulate and powder.
