PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite substrate with dielectric thick film, free from crack at any combination of substrate materials and dielectric materials by dint of an interlayer of glass as a principal element between the substrate and an electrode, and an EL element using the same. SOLUTION: The composite substrate is composed of an electrode formed by thick film method and a dielectric layer, formed successively on a substrate. The composite substrate has the glass interlayer with operation temperature of less than 1300 deg.C between the substrate and the electrode. |
