PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a covered cord which is easy to produce, which has high bendability and high strippability of the cover, and whose individual wire core can be identified by the difference in color on the outer periphery. SOLUTION: A covered cord 1 has a wire core 2 with an outer periphery of a conductor 2a coated with an insulator 2b and a wire core 3 with an outer periphery of a conductor 3a coated with an insulator 3b arranged side by side. The insulators 2b, 3b are joined through the joining portion 5 to each other at outer periphery along the full length.
