<p>A personal authentication system (1) comprising an identification information memory (18) where identification data for identifying an individual is recorded, a code-by-use memory (16) where codes by use, i. e., combinations of pieces of identification data, corresponding to the use of the personal authentication system (1) are recorded, a scanner (28) and keyboard (23) for receiving the input of authentication data corresponding to the identification information by a user of the personal authentication system (1), a first comparing section (24) for judging whether or not the authentication data agrees with the codes by use recorded in the code-by-use memory (16), and a second comparing section (26) for judging whether or not the authentication data agrees with the identification data recorded in the identification information memory (18), whereby the system can be adaptive to secret identification codes thanks to the codes by use.</p> |
