PURPOSE: A method for supplying the celestial information of a mobile telephone is provided to allow a user of the mobile telephone to obtain easily the celestial information by supplying the mobile telephone with the celestial information on the basis of the latitude and longitude information of the mobile telephone. CONSTITUTION: A mobile telephone receives latitude and longitude from a base station(S1). The celestial information corresponding to the received latitude and longitude is calculated(S2). According to the received data, a selection menu is supplied(S3). The celestial information of the selected menu is displayed(S4). If a user deviates from a service area, a latitude and a longitude are inputted by using a key pad of the mobile telephone and a value necessary for obtaining the celestial information is calculated by using the operation function of a control chip.
