PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the productivity of a paper product while suppressing the scaling-up of an apparatus and preventing the increase in running cost caused by an increase in quantity of heat or the like, in a method and apparatus for manufacturing the paper product, paper bonding paste and a method for manufacturing a microcapsule of the paper bonding paste. SOLUTION: In a paper product manufacturing method for manufacturing a paper product 19 by bonding papers 8, 9 using paste 12, a coating process for coating the laminating places of the papers 8, 9 with microcapsule mixed paste 12a prepared by mixing microcapsules 30, in which NaOH is sealed in high concentration, with the paste 12, and a bonding process for applying a stimulation to the paste 12a applied in the coating process from the outside to destruct the microcapsules 30 mixed with the paste 12a and bonding the papers 8, 9 by utrilizing NaOH released from the microcapsules, are provided.
