PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide practically effective fluid lubrication in an artificial hip joint unit for which an acelabular cup socket part and a bone head part are both constituted of ceramics. SOLUTION: The friction coefficient of the acelabular cup socket part and the bone head part after imparting the loads of 450 N for ten minutes using physiological saline as lubricating fluid is 0.04 or less. |
