PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device and an image forming device that can be controlled at a low cost with a simple configuration and save the space. SOLUTION: A printer 21 is provided with a condition setting program to be controlled by a mobile phone 23, and accordingly, even when a special function or the like is added to the printer 21, the mobile phone 23 at hand can control the printer 21 and it is not required to externally mount an operation section to set the operating condition of the special function, thereby reducing the number of the components and the manufacturing cost.
