<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decoding device that correctly performs decoding processing even in the case the input of code data is interrupted just after and end marker regardless of the existence/absence of marker addition other than the end marker. SOLUTION: Dummy data are preliminarily added just after effective code data and inputted to a code inputting part 11. The code data are once stored in a buffer 12, read and transmitted to a decoding part 16 through a marker detecting part 13 and subjected to decoding processing. When the part 13 detects a marker, marker processing is performed. When the code data are interrupted and a buffer empty 22 is outputted or when the part 13 performs marker processing and a marker processing execution signal 24 is outputted, a decoding stop signal generating part 14 generates a decoding stop signal 28 to stop the decoding processing of the part 16. Even though the code data are interrupted just after the end marker, the code data are not defined as an end, but the code data are defined as an end when the dummy data are detected.</p> |
