PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible image display method and a reversible image display medium which can reduce paper, ink, etc., which are used for the conventional image display, since it can perform repeatingly the image display and image erasure, are excellent in contrast, and can display an image with high quality stably over the long-term with high resolution. SOLUTION: The reversible image display medium 12 is prepared, in which two sheets having light transmissivity, a developer accommodating cell formed between the two sheets and surrounded with a partition wall and a dry developer included in each cell are included, and the developer contains dry developing particles charged by friction of which the electrification polarity differs mutually and the optical reflection density differs mutually. The sheet surface of the medium 12 is electrified uniformly in advance by a previously elecrifying device 2, and an electrostatic latent image is formed in a electrified area, by forming the electrostatic field, based on this, the developing particles are moved and the image is displayed.
