PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device which can be handled without any trouble in a wide range of from a low to a high temperature and manufactured at a low cost and its manufacturing method in which semiconductor thin films are separated from a semiconductor substrate and transferred onto a board. SOLUTION: Semiconductor thin films 3, 4, and 5 are formed on an invar alloy substrate 14 through the intermediary of an adhesive layer 15 for the formation of a semiconductor device.
