The invention concerns a brake power generator having a power input rod (12), one end of which is connected to the power brake booster and the other end (14) of which is configured in such a way that it can be interlocked with an actuating device of the power brake generator. In order to further simplify and automate said interlocking process, a housing (16) is fixed by positive fit on the end (14) of the power input rod (12). A step bearing (24) is configured for a part of the actuating device in the part of the housing (16) adjacent to the power input rod (12). The end of the housing (16) facing the actuating device is formed by a funnel-shaped enlargement (22). At least one locking element (30) that is movable radially and that is axially and resiliently prestressed inward interacting with the part of the actuating device is disposed axially in the housing (16) between the funnel-shaped enlargement (22) and the step bearing (24).
