PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oligo(5,15-diaryl-substituted Zn(II)-porphyrinylene) compound family which is composed of an exact length and a structure of monodisperse polymer rod and has a maximum length of 106 nm for example. SOLUTION: The compound family includes a monodisperse oligo(5,15-diaryl- substituted Zn(II)-porphyrinylene) compound represented by general formula (1), the metal-free porphyrinylene compound therof, and a porphyrinylene cmopound which is obtained by substituting the Zn in formula (1) with Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, a lanthanide (excluding Pm), a refractory metal, Th, U, Mn, Tc, Re, an iron, a platinum, Cu, Ab, Au, Cd, Hg, Al, Ga, In, Tl, Si, Ge, Sn, Pb, As, Sb, or Bi. (n is an integer of 9 or more, R is the same or different alkyl or higher alkoxy group which is bulky to increase the solvent-solubility of the compound).
