APPARATUS FOR ADJUSTING HEIGHT OF MOUNT FOR LCD MONITOR

PURPOSE: An apparatus for adjusting the height of a mount for an LCD monitor is provided to minimize the size of the LCD monitor by enabling the mount to be folded or unfolded as well as to be adjusted in height and tilted. CONSTITUTION: A mount receiver(20) is coupled to the rear part of an LCD monitor body(10). A guide groove(22) is formed in the front of the mount receiver(20), and guide rails(24) are vertically formed at both sides of the guide groove(22). A movable member(30) is elevated in the guide groove(22). A stopper(40) restricts the height of the movable member(30), and includes a stopper member(42) and an elastic member(44) for elastically supporting the stopper member(42). The mount(50) has a vertical support member(52) and a horizontal support member(54). The vertical support member(52) has a hinge member(52b) opposed to a hinge member(34) in the rear side of the movable member(30). A hinge pin(62) is inserted between the hinge members(34,52b). The horizontal support member(54) has a configuration to be folded or unfolded. The vertical support member(52) and the horizontal support member(54) are fixed without play by using a bolt(70).
