PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilating structure having superior ventilating efficiency and easy execution, in a building having a living room space. SOLUTION: This ventilating structure (e.g. a ventilating system 1) ventilates a building, having a living room space 12 (for example, for ventilating the space of a multiple dwelling house 10. The structure comprises a main exhaust duct 31, provided through the building in a horizontal direction, two exhaust ports 31a, 31b provided oppositely at two outer walls of the building to become ends of the main duct, a branched exhaust duct 32 branched from the main duct to communicate with the space, and an exhaust pressure loss reducing means (e.g. an exhaust air backflow preventing damper 33), which is provided partly at the main duct and having means for a large supply air pressure loss and for a small exhaust pressure loss.
