PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of a tape measure comprising a combination of a base member and a surface layer member. SOLUTION: In a tape measure comprising a combination of a long base member becoming a tape-like shape and the surface layer member laminated to the base member and having graduations for displaying a dimension applied on the surface thereof, the surface layer member has the bridges, which pierce the base member to strongly and closely bond the surface layer member to the base member, on the laminating surface with the base member thereof.
