PURPOSE: An electroluminescent device is provided to improve the brightness and reduce the power consumption by increasing the amount of electrons so as to make a fluorescent layer emit light. CONSTITUTION: A fluorescent layer(12) is formed on a substrate(10). The first and second electrode layers(14, 16) are formed on a surface of the fluorescent layer(12), and receive a driving voltage from the outside. At least one of the first and second electrode layers(14, 16) is made of ITO(Indium Tin Oxide). The first and second insulating layers(18, 20) are formed between the fluorescent layer(12) and the first and second electrode layers(14, 16), and prevent an electrical break down. An electron layer(24) is formed on the boundary between the fluorescent layer(12) and the first and second insulating layer(18, 20), and increases the amount of electrons passing through the fluorescent layer(12). |
