PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for placing homogeneous concrete having high strength even when the concrete having a lower water-to-cement ratio than normally is placed by placing the the concrete while keeping good flowability and then tamping the concrete by a vibrator. SOLUTION: Wellan gum consisting of biologically fermented polysaccharide is added by 0.005-0.045 wt.%, based on cement, to stiff-consistency or practically stiff-consistency concrete having a lower water-to-cement ratio than normally and <=15 cm slump value to lower the slump value of the concrete to 1/2-1/5, further the concrete is placed in a framework, etc., while keeping sufficient workability and tamped by vibration, and a formed body having excellent strength and uniformity is advantageously obtained. |
