PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it can not be decided from the output of an image having a copyright whether the output is proper with charging namely whether this output image is illegal or legal, even if the image is outputted without charging in a charging mode for permitting the output of the image with charging. SOLUTION: A specified mode discriminating part 5 discriminates whether the charging mode is set by a CHARGE signal from a register part 3, and when this mode is set, a CODE pattern showing charging information is superimposed on an FTS pattern characteristic of the device by a code pattern superimposing part 6. Then, this is superimposed on the image as CODEVDO. |
