SOLUTION: Annular packing 6 having the small surface area is preferably pressed to an end surface of a pipe 5 and a sleeve 1 by a half-split embracing holding tool 8 to increase pressing force per unit area applied to the annular packing 6 from the half-split embracing holding tool 8 to strongly press the annular packing 6 to the end surface of the pipe 5 and the sleeve 1.
