PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture an optical reflection body with high reflectance at a low cost and with ease. SOLUTION: The optical reflection body 1 is provided with a reflection plane 5 on a desired position of a base body 2. The reflection plane 5 is composed of a multi-layer film 4 comprising a low refractive index layer 41 formed with a sol-gel method and a high refractive index layer 42 formed with the sol-gel method alternately laminated. Forming at least the low refractive index layer 41 with an inorganic-organic hybrid layer lowers the refractive index of the plane 5.
