PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trace memory for storing internal bus access information for housing internal bus access information without increasing a chip area in a processor. SOLUTION: A built-in trace memory 13 for storing the internal bus access information in a trace mode and storing the information as the built-in memory with respect to a CPU in a normal operation mode is provided in the processor 10. The number of input/output data bits in the trace mode of this built-in trace memory is set to be the natural number times of the bit width of an internal data bus 25.
