PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved dip coating system. SOLUTION: This coating device contains a coating vessel 12 having a vertical inside surface 16 having a circular cross sectional shape and a virtual vertical center axis, an opened top part 18 and a bottom part 20 and including a vertical wall, a vertical shaft 36, which is supported on the bottom part of the coating vessel 12 and the center axis of which is coaxially aligned with the virtual vertical center axis of the inside surface 16 having the circular cross sectional shape, and a coating liquid inlet/outlet port 24 adjacent to the bottom of the coating vessel 12.
