PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device of oxidizing a liquid to be treated provided with the atomizer function for micronizing an oxidizing gas and having the reduced oxidation power. SOLUTION: The liquid is subjected to liquid phase oxidation by efficiently involving oxygen-containing gas 8 or ozone in the lowering flow of the liquid formed in an oxidation reaction system 2. The power is saved and the liquid phase oxidation is possible by dropping the liquid to be treated to the oxidation reaction system from an overflow pipe of a liquid storage tank and discharging the liquid by providing a screw blade at the bottom part of the oxidation reaction system.
