PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain pellets of a resin composition excellent in extruding characteristics and retort-resistance characteristics and provide molded products. SOLUTION: The pellets of a resin composition comprise the saponification product (A) of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, a polyamide-based resin (B) and the metal salt (C) of a fatty acid and allow the metallic salt (C) of the fatty acid to exist inside and in the external surface of the pellets. The molded product is obtained by melt molding the pellets.
