PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform an operator of a necessary time period for waiting when receiving data (a printing start request or printing data) during the performing of a maintenance operation. SOLUTION: When the printing start request is received during the performing of the maintenance operation, an issuer is informed of a necessary remaining time period for the maintenance operation (ST4-ST7). When the printing is performed even in the above case, the printing data is received and the issuer of the printing data is informed of a necessary time period for printing (ST4, ST8-ST12). |
