PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging medium, an imaging method, an imaging device, a printer and a positioning method by which carrying and positioning for imaging are easily realized. SOLUTION: In the imaging medium with which imaging is performed by causing the change of an imaging characteristics in accordance with an imaging data by the irradiation of an energy beam, two kinds of holes or notches such as the hole or the notch in which a positioning pin provided at the imaging device is fitted and attached, and the hole or the notch in which the positioning pin provided at the printer is fitted and attached are formed.
