LEATHER-LIKE SHEET AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a leather-like sheet having excellent three-dimensional feeling/design and cushioning characteristics. SOLUTION: This leather-like sheet is obtained by laminating a transparent nonporous layer of 20-100μm thickness consisting essentially of polyurethane, containing a napped fiber layer of extra fine fiber continued to an extra fine fiber of a substrate layer and an uneven pattern by hollow to the surface of fibrous substrate layer comprising a three-dimensional interlaced nonwoven fabric composed of an extra fine fiber bundle having <=0.5 dtex single fiber fineness and a porous structure of elastic polymer existing in the interlaced space.
