PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish a high efficient refrigerating cycle by reducing the amount of lubricating oil carried out of a compressor while maintaining the compressor efficiency, and enhancing the reliability of the comperssor. SOLUTION: This rotary compressor is composed of a piston 15a with its inside surface part fitted rotatably on an eccentric shaft part 7 of a drive shaft 6 and revolving eccentrically within a cylinder chamber 4 following rotation of the drive shaft; a blade 15b formed protrusively on the periphery of the piston to partition the cylinder chamber into a low pressure chamber and a high pressure chamber; swinging support parts 16 and 17 to support the protruding tip of the blade swigably, advanceably and retreatably following the piston revolution: a communication part 35 for communicating the inside of the swinging support parts with the inside of a sealed vessel; an supporting members 11 and 12 installed so as to block the cylinder chamber openings at both ends for supporting the drive shaft and piston rotatably. A tapered portion 40 is provided on the inside diameter side of the piston, and a lubricating oil is supplied to the gap between the piston and supporting members through the tapered portion.
