PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which has a small-size and lightweight rupturing means and also its pinpoint (edge) whose durability is enhanced. SOLUTION: This imaging device is typically of such a construction that it has a recording means 3 which records an image in a recording medium, the rupturing means 4 with a vertically slidable rupture pin 16, a carrier table 12 which mounts the recording means 3 and the rupturing means 4 and is slidable in an orthogonal direction with a direction in which a recording medium P is conveyed, a platen 9 which supports the recording medium P at an opposite position to the carrier table 12 and pin holes 25 opened at a position, corresponding to the rupturing pin 16, of the platen 9.
