PURPOSE: A bidirectional DC power supply apparatus is provided to simultaneously experiment on two logic circuits and to reduce the experiment time and to improve the output power source display function by generating the bidirectional DC current using a selective switch operation. CONSTITUTION: The bidirectional DC power supply apparatus comprises an AC input unit(100), a DC power source supplier(110), a regulator(120), an output unit(130), a display unit(140) having two LCDs to display the DC value, and a switching unit(150). The AC input unit receives the external AC power source. The DC power source supplier has the first rectifier(111) for rectifying the applied AC voltage and generating the constant DC voltage, the second rectifier(113) and the third rectifier(115) for rectifying the applied AC voltage and generating the variable direct voltage according to the signal generated form the regulator, and an overvoltage and overcurrent protective circuit(117) for cutting off the DC voltage generated from the second and third rectifiers. The output unit includes the first output terminal(131) for supplying the DC voltage produced from the first rectifier to the load, the second output terminal(132) and the third output terminal(135) for supplying the DC voltage produced from the second and third rectifiers to the load, respectively. The switching unit has the first voltage regulating switch(151), the second voltage regulating switch(153), the first current regulating switch(155), the second current regulating switch(157), a meter display switch(159) and a channel selection switch(161). The voltage regulating switches regulate the DC voltage level of the second and third rectifiers by sending an electrical signal to the regulator, respectively. |
